Role Summary

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, AB. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be involved with the development of social media content, email marketing campaigns, website maintenance, advertising, and overall marketing strategy.

If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, this position is for you! You will work with our marketing manager and different divisions to coordinate our digital marketing and advertising projects. Ultimately, you should be able to promote our company and increase client engagement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to understand the market size, share, competition, and opportunities.
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Create and coordinate digital content for websites, blogs, and press releases.
  • Establish our web presence to boost brand awareness.
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
  • Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability.
  • Analyze marketing processes and tools while evaluating and recommending alternatives to improve ROI.
  • Lead and contribute to projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with other marketing and sales projects as required.
  • Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness.
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.).
  • Some graphic design experience is an asset
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website.
  • Collaborate with designers to improve user experience.
  • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.).

Experience and Skills

  • A High school Diploma is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience managing and enhancing digital touchpoints, platforms, and tools in support of digital marketing goals.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Experience creating and running social media accounts.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Familiar with campaign strategy and budget planning.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Experience with Mailchimp and HubSpot.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background check will be required.
